SportX Launches Power List 100 to Recognise Organisational Excellence Across the Sports Industry
SportX has officially announced the launch of the SportXPower List 100, a new benchmark platform designed to recognise the top-performing leaders and organisations driving measurable growth across the South African sports industry.
The initiative introduces a single, standardised nomination process to identify high-impact executives across multiple sectors, including, professional sports clubs, franchises and leagues as well as sport governing bodies, sport development agencies, commercial agencies and service providers.
Unlike traditional recognition platforms, the SportXPower List 100 emphasises organisational leadership over perception, ensuring a credible and comparable ranking across all segments of the sports industry.
In addition, nominators are required to highlight a single standout achievement of the executive over the last 12-months, when making the nomination, providing concise context on the impact and significance of leadership performance within their organisation.
According to Gerrit Davids, MD of Gerom Media, “The SportXPower List 100 is designed to move beyond subjective recognition and focus on what truly matters, i.e. organisational growth, financial strength, and measurable outcomes,”
“It creates a unified framework to compare performance across the diverse sports ecosystem,” added Davids.
The final Power List will showcase 100 of the most impactful leaders in sport, and positioned as a definitive reference for influential leaders in the sports industry.
Invitations to submit nominations will be sent to qualifying organisations.
