Johannesburg - The SportXAwards has announced its upcoming Pro Sports Best in Social Media ceremony on 3 September 2026, bringing together the country’s leading sports clubs, leagues, and digital storytellers for a high-energy, non-traditional networking experience.
Designed as a dynamic celebration of social media engagement, the event will spotlight excellence in social media performance across rugby, cricket, and football, using data-driven metrics to recognise the teams and organisations shaping fan engagement in the digital era.

The awards will culminate in the announcement of the - Social Media Pro Sports Champion of the Year, awarded to the overall best-performing entity across all metrics.
